of Interest
Official town web site: monson-ma.gov
A short drive for a great daytrip any time of the year! As a small
New England scenic town, Monson has a wide variety of fun and interesting
things to do. Come enjoy one of our monthly summer concerts at the gazebo
sponsored by the Monson Rotary Club, or savor some history in our museums.
In
Monson you can pick your own berries in the spring and apples and pumpkins
in the fall, visit our local gift shops. Perhaps you enjoy camping, Golf
or Mini golf, hiking, biking, fishing, horseback riding or have a picnic
or visit a winery. Come back in the winter for cross country skiing, snowshoeing
or to cut yourself a fresh Christmas tree for the holiday.
Take
time off one evening, relax and enjoy some homemade ice cream, visit a
petting zoo all while taking in one of Monson's spectacular sunsets. Here
are some greater details on a few "things to do" here in Monson
Massachusetts.

to the present.
It houses
an auditorium with a small "proscenium" stage (still used for
theater, concerts and other town events). and the GAR
